Dracula
Dracula is the main protagonist of the Hotel Transylvania movie series. He is the owner of Hotel Transylvania. He is also the husband of Martha and the father of Mavis. He is also the grandfather of Denis.
Dracula is very charismatic and funny to his guests and others around him and although he can be over-controlling of what goes on in the hotel and overprotective of his daughter, Mavis. His over-controlling personality makes him an ideal hotel manager.
Mavis Dracula-Loughran
Mavis' is the deuteragonist of the Hotel Transylvania movie series. She is Dracula and Martha's Vampire daughter. In the second film, she becomes the wife of Jonathan Loughran and the mother of their son, Dennis as well as the granddaughter of Vlad.
Mavis is headstrong, intelligent, curious, cheerful, and independent. She has an attitude, but she is very sincere and gentle.
Dennis Dracula-Loughran
Dennis is the half-human/half-vampire son of Jonathan and Mavis. He is also the grandson of Dracula and Martha. Dennis is also the great-grandson of Vlad.
Dennis is a little boy with unruly, striking red hair and blue eyes, a combination of genes he inherited from both his parents. He is dressed in a sports jersey with the number "4" on it and shorts similar to Johnny.
Dennis is outwardly portrayed as being optimistic and childish such as any child his age. He appears to have a fairly similar temperament to Johnathan: easygoing, insouciant, and exuberant in most scenarios.
Jonathan "Johnny" Loughran
Johnny is the tritagonist in the Hotel Transylvania series. By the second film, he has become the husband of Mavis and the father of their son, Dennis.
Jonathan is an easy-going, fun-loving and happy-go-lucky young man whose presence breathes new life into the monster world. He's a typical backpacker: confident and adventurous. He's also very talkative, curious, optimistic and his good natured attitude allows him to win many people over, even ones who greatly dislike him at first.
Ericka Van Helsing
Ericka Van Helsing works as the captain of a luxury cruise ship and is the great-granddaughter of the famed monster hunter, Abraham Van Helsing.
On the outside Ericka is highly energetic, charming, and friendly towards those she meets. However, on the inside Ericka holds onto much darker motives. Ericka fully believes in her duty as a monster hunter, and feels nothing but hatred towards monsters.
